Our Place
La Posada del Arquitecto was established in the 90s, when Mazunte was still an uninhabited beach. Guido, the Architect, built his house here, and soon friends began to visit, attracted by the magic of the place. In turn, the first palapas and rustic houses emerged, designed with principles of bioarchitecture and local materials.
Over time, and thanks to the collaboration of friends, La Posada was transformed into a more comfortable space, always respecting nature and featuring total water recycling, solar panels for energy and hot water, and a commitment to minimize environmental impact.
We offer open, natural rooms in harmony with the environment, where trees and small animals coexist, and we invite you to respect them. We also have modern options with air conditioning, always using sustainable energy.
All this just a few steps from the ocean, with the sound of the waves as company.
